Childrens' Parties:View our Party Pieces for children >> We will provide all materials for children to paint their own ceramic masterpiece - all you need do is provide a table and chairs. The cost for each item is a complete price that includes the glazes and final firing. There is nothing further to pay. The piece can be chosen before the party by the parents or each child can select an item on the day. It is helpful to have some idea of the items the children would like. The children can draw their design and then paint it. Alternatively they can trace a design with special carbon paper or can use stencils and sponges. Older children may like the more intricate pieces. After the painting session, usually about an hour, we take the pieces away for glazing and firing. They are returned a few days later. Some of the pieces can be painted with acrylics and then sealed - this is great for ornamental items that will not come into too much contact with water. A booking fee of £40 is payable when arranging the party and this sum is subtracted from the final bill.
